Congratulations to Meric Ozcan on his well-deserved promotion to shodan (1st degree black belt) in Jiyushin-ryu Aikibudo! Meric has been training very diligently for years, but he has really stepped it up recently and is definitely chasing this stuff. Everyone who regularly trains with him agrees that he’s improved tremendously and is a valued member and an asset to the dojo.
